The covers are removable and washable so you can keep the same cover(s) and personalise future sketch or notebooks. ‘Kuumba’ is a Swahili verb which means ‘to create‘.

The covers were adapted from a pattern in The Liberty Book of Home Sewing, which has heaps of other ideas in for tactile creations, whilst giving an overview about the history of Liberty fabrics and some of their most popular prints.
